To deepen its presence in Africa and improve customer lifecycle support, Weihua Group has opened new regional service centers in Lagos (Nigeria), Nairobi (Kenya), and Johannesburg (South Africa)—forming a service triangle across West, East, and Southern Africa.
Each center is staffed with certified service engineers and equipped with spare-parts inventory and diagnostic tools, offering installation guidance, commissioning training, periodic inspections, emergency repairs, and upgrade services. For key sectors including ports, mining, power, and manufacturing, a rapid-response protocol targets on-site support within 24 hours for critical failures.
Africa remains a fast-growing market for infrastructure and industrial development. Weihua lifting equipment already serves container and bulk terminals, smelters, and major EPC projects across the continent. Localized service will shorten spare-parts lead times and technical support cycles, reducing costly downtime for customers.
Beyond routine maintenance, the three centers will deliver regional training and partner enablement programs, helping local installation teams adopt standardized procedures and safety practices to raise overall service quality across the market.
Weihua plans to expand service footprints in Africa and other emerging markets based on project density and customer demand, supporting long-term operations through integrated product, service, and digital capabilities.
